The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to your community.

SASSA will be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed with regards to the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA sassa services.

“That is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The support issue developed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of probable beneficiaries, that makes it tough to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and increase access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
